Tanning a process in which, the skin is exposed to either direct sunlight (outdoor tanning) or ultra violent rays to make it darken (indoor tanning). Tanning beds are used in indoor tanning. Most people opt to have a darker shed of their skin because they feel like it would look much better without considering the harmful effects.Tanning beds produce UVA high is almost five times as that produced by the sun.
This high concentration of light may cause skin cancer and other diseases like malignant melanoma, weaken the body’s immune system and even cause wrinkling or premature aging. As much as people may desire to have darker skin tones, the long term effects of going about the process are quite harmful. Treating diseases like cancer will end up, being a much a higher expense. Although doctors would earn money in treating these conditions, they also know best to always advice their patients that prevention is better than cure.
